The reporter is responsible for informing the station about ongoing situations. This can be done in a number of ways, from writing newspapers to dragging the entertainment cameras around.
Reporters typically have rooms where you can find said cameras, and loads of empty papers. The cameras can be routed to any number of televisions around the station, so put it somewhere with a lot of action!
