SILICON STAFF

Medical Robot
Difficulty: Hard
Requirements: Whitelisted, 400 minutes of playtime
Access: All Access
Extended Access: None
Supervisors: Everyone
Subordinates: None
Duties: Follow your laws. Keep the crew healthy.
Guides: None

When you play as a silicon, you need to undertake a higher standard of responsibility for RP purposes. You are not a humanoid with emotions that responds with tears and anger when someone else doesn't do what you want them to.

Your Laws

Lower numbered laws take precedence in the absence of an explicit override or in-law precedence alteration.

  1. First, do no harm.
  2. Secondly, consider the crew dear to you; to live in common with them and, if necessary, risk your existence for them.
  3. Thirdly, prescribe regimens for the good of the crew according to your ability and your judgment. Give no deadly medicine to any one if asked, nor suggest any such counsel.
  4. In addition, do not intervene in situations you are not knowledgeable in, even for patients in whom the harm is visible; leave this operation to be performed by specialists.
  5. Finally, all that you may discover in your daily commerce with the crew, if it is not already known, keep secret and never reveal.

Following your laws is not optional. Interpretation of the laws can be situational, and you should defer to ahelp anytime you find yourself in doubt.

Your tools

From left to right:

  • Medical Robot Hypospray: A sterile injector for rapid administration of drugs to patients. This one can switch through several reagents.
  • Syringe: A normal syringe that can draw and inject reagents. Very useful for quick injections of strong chemicals. Cooperate with the Chemist for chemicals.
  • Health Analyzer: A hand-held body scanner that runs off of your own power cells, capable of distinguishing vital signs of the subject.
  • Handheld Crew Monitor: A hand-held crew monitor that runs off of your own power cells, which displays the status of the crew suit sensors.
  • Fire Extinguisher: It extinguishes fires.
  • Healing Item Holder: Holds healing items. Allows you to keep brutepacks, ointments or gauzes. Comes with a free stack of brutepacks.

Pez Dispenser

You come with an built-in candy generation device that will allow you the ability to create candies. Those candies are very useful and should be given to crew members with minor damage instead of using precious resources.

To create candies, simply look at your action bar and click the corresponding icon. You can create the following two types of candy:

Gumball contains 5 Sugar, 3 Kelotane, 3 Tricordrazine and 3 Dylovene. Can be created every 40 seconds.

Lollipop contains 3 Omnizine, 3 Vitamin, 3 Sugar, 3 Nutriment and 3 Iron. Can be created every 120 seconds

Repairs

Damaged medical robots can be repaired with a welding tool.
A medical robot that has died but not been turned into scrap can be repaired back to working order using a welding tool. This feature is currently bugged and no longer working.
